Ocho.
A social wellbeing brand built around movement, community, and showing up as you are. Identity, event branding, and social content — built for people, not performance.
A brand built for the community, not the algorithm.
Ocho isn't a running club in the traditional sense — it's a social wellbeing club that happens to run. Founded by Ella in early 2025, the ethos is simple: movement, connection, and starting the weekend with good people. No pressure. No PBs. Just showing up.
The brand needed to reflect that energy — warm, inclusive, and genuinely welcoming — without looking amateurish or over-designed. Something that worked on a phone screen at 9am on a Saturday as much as it did on event collateral.
Beyond the core identity, Ocho hosted their first branded event — a coffee morning with Mettricks. Poster, text lockup, social posts — all designed to feel like it belonged in a feed, on a wall, and in your hands.
Brand Identity
Core visual identity — logo suite, colour system, and type — built to feel community-led without losing visual credibility.
Run Club Mark
A secondary logo built specifically for the running side of the brand — distinct enough to stand alone, consistent enough to belong.
Event Branding
Full event identity for the Ocho × Mettricks coffee morning — poster, text lockup, and brand partnership treatment.
Social Content
A suite of social posts built for the event — designed to perform in a feed, not just look good in a screenshot.
Ocho × Mettricks.
A coffee morning.
Ocho's first branded event — a Saturday morning coffee party hosted at Mettricks. Everything from the poster to the social content was built in-house, for a crowd that shows up because they want to.
A chilled Saturday morning gathering — coffee, community, and a reason to get out the house. Held at Mettricks, one of the South's most established independent coffee shops, this was Ocho at its most itself: low pressure, high energy, and genuinely worth showing up for.
Sourced, printed,
labelled, packaged.
Beyond the flat designs, we handled the full production pipeline — sourcing the blanks, managing the print run, applying custom woven labels, and speccing the packaging. The kind of end-to-end that turns a design file into something someone actually wears.
Sourced and selected for weight, fit, and how they hold a print — because the base matters as much as the design on it.
Custom print run with branded woven labels. Every unit feels intentional from the first touch.
Custom packaging spec'd to match the brand — the unboxing is part of the product.
